About Hot Yoga

What is Hot Yoga?
Hot yoga is simply yoga performed in a heated room. Performing yoga in the heat is a practice that is becoming ever more celebrated, popularized by a variety of styles of hatha yoga: Vinyasa yoga, a flowing series of postures, Moksha yoga, derived from Ashtanga yoga and Bikram Method yoga, a set series of static asanas.
Why do Hot Yoga?
- the heat allows you to move deeper into postures, decreasing resistance to movement
- increased blood flow to all parts of the body
- sweating creates detoxification
